KHCAA writes to Kerala High Court Acting CJ after lawyers’ car tyres punctured, flags parking woes

Such non-lawyers and outsiders leave their vehicles parked continuously or overnight at the chamber complex, preventing KHCAA members and lawyers from finding any parking space in the morning, the letter said.

The security personnel appointed by KHCAA at the chamber complex are also finding to difficult to manage the influx of vehicles being parked by non-members, added the letter signed off by KHCAA Secretary, advocate Anoop V Nair.

Notably, the letter also highlighted a recent incident which occurred on July 7 (Sunday) when 7-8 cars owned by KHCAA members were punctured by unknown miscreants.

The KHCAA has urged the High Court’s Acting Chief Justice to forward a complaint on this matter to the police station so that a case may be registered and an effective investigation conducted.

The letter added that the association has already written to the police over the matter from its end, after getting several complaints over unauthorised cars being left parked at the chamber complex.
