Good things about the University based on your personal experience
Among all the law colleges at MG University our college can be considered one of the best and top. Sree Narayana Law College has held the highest ranks in the university since its inception till now.
The college library has a wide collection of books with all the latest articles and other genres of books. They organize National Seminars, National moot court competitions (online as well as offline), webinars on different topics, panel discussions, debates, and several competitions and help us to be updated with all the important factors.
NSS is very active over there and it conducts camps and actively participates in social issues. They promote agriculture and also won awards for the same. Eco club actively initiates to promote environment-friendly programs.
Bad things about the University based on your personal experience
Sree Narayana Law College lacks a large campus facility when we compare it with other colleges. It is a building with 3-4 floors, an outdoor canteen and a parking slot.
The lack of a hostel facility makes it difficult for students coming from far away. They are supposed to be paying gust or have to rent an apartment. Finding a place with all the amenities is very difficult.
How’s the faculty?
The faculty is really supportive and encouraging. They never restrict our freedom and have always been a helping hand. They never interfere with the student’s privacy and respect our emotions.
Our teachers are always supportive and zestful not only towards educational matters but in extracurricular activities and social works. They are always systematic about the timely completion of syllabi.
The whole college is really helpful in every step of students and they prepare students for their future success.

How’s the infrastructure? Mention some of the things that exist.
A beautiful area with a calm and friendly atmosphere. Library facility with a variety of law books along with others and referring sessions. Large reading area with a quiet atmosphere. Computer lab facility for all the students and faculties.
Beautiful Moot court room encourages students to be a part of moot court competitions. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities, help students not only to sparkle in academics but also in sports.
An outdoor canteen, where we spend our snack time and a function hall is a part of our college. Quality classrooms are also provided.
A beautiful place with a backwater and lake, where we use to spend our quality time chit-chating with friends.

How’s your hostel experience?
There is no hostel facility in our college. There are many homestays and paying guest facilities near our college. They provide almost all the necessary facilities. Even though there are paying gust facilities, it is not that easy to get stay near to the college.

How are your peers?
We are a family which supports each other, stays together in ups and downs and has a lifelong friendship. Seniors are really helpful and never hesitate to provide the needed help. They are approachable day and night and are happy to support us. They encourage and motivate juniors.
Everyone respects each other and their ideologies. Their political ideologies are considered and given value. There is no difference between juniors and seniors all are considered equal and every suggestion is respected.

How are the co-curricular activities in your college?
Sree Narayana Law College Moot court society conducts National Moot Court competitions online as well as offline. Several webinars, seminars, panel discussions and workshops were conducted.
The National service scheme(NSS)is very active and they conduct webinars, seminars, camps and other activities. The art club conducts programs and encourages students to participate.SN students have always been active participants in kalolsavam.
The union conducts internal as well as external sports competitions. An enthusiastic sports team which actively participates in competitions. An efficient Legal aid committee and journal committee are present.

What are some of the things you’d advise a 1st-year aspirant who enters your college?
Sometimes at a point in time, you may think about whether your decision was right or not, at that point just keep yourself busy and try to identify the lawyer in you.
Enjoy your campus days, explore yourself, laugh at the simplest moments, fight for your thoughts, research, compete, live fully and just remember that the proudest moment of your life is coming.
Anything else you’d like to mention?
It doesn’t matter where you study, is it NLU or not. What matter is how you are now. Where ever we are, all of us have the capacity to compete, just do your fullest and the success is yours.
