About the Webinar

Mediation law aims to provide a supportive legal framework for its use as a viable alternative to traditional litigation. It encourages parties to explore consensual resolutions to their disputes.

The practice of mediation is as old as human history, but its acceptance as a formal means of resolving disputes has been a recent development. A constructive and non adversarial approach to resolving conflicts by fostering communication, understanding, and collaboration between the parties is the need of the hour.

The latest book from OakBridge Publishing Pvt Ltd, ‘Mediation Simplified’, edited by Nisshant Laroia and Jonathan Rodrigues simplifies and unlocks effective conflict resolution mechanism. The book is India’s first Workbook on mediation and negotiation. It attempts to illustrate the theory of mediation in a practical and relatable manner.

The intricately curated chapters allow the reader an immersive experience to reflect on conflicting simulations. It also helps the reader apply practical tools to strategically de-escalate, objectively analyze, and amicably resolve the conflicting situation.

Whether you are a professional mediator, a legal practitioner, a human resources professional, a law student or an individual simply interested in improving your conflict resolution skills, this webinar will equip you with practical tools and techniques to resolve conflicts effectively and foster positive outcomes.
