The Court also directed the TN Bar Council to finalise the electoral list, appoint the election officer and conduct the elections at the earliest in accordance with the bylaws.
The Court also said that in case, the elections get delayed due to any unavoidable reasons, the TN Bar Council must inform the Court and appoint a woman “special officer” to conduct the WLA elections within four months of her appointment.
