The Court made the observations after the State government submitted that Vasan, who hosts a YouTube channel called Twin Throttlers, had around 4.5 million followers on social media.
The Additional Public Prosecutor also told the Court that youngsters who admire Vasan and other popular bikers often get influenced and carried away by watching such videos and vlogs. As a result, they end up driving rashly and attempt to perform dangerous stunts themselves endangering their own lives and the lives of other motorists and pedestrians, he added.
