National Webinar on From Ritual to Record – The Rise of International Olympic Committee by Centre of Sports Law, UPES [Nov 4]: Register Now!

Centre of Sports Law, UPES is organising a National Webinar on “From Ritual to Record: The Rise of International Olympic Committee” on November 4, 2023.

Aims

The Centre for Sports Law aims to provide students and young legal professionals with access to practitioners and other individuals in the sports and entertainment law fields and to afford them the opportunity to pursue and explore the many areas of sports and entertainment law. 

Purpose

The basic purpose of this webinar is to discuss the rise of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and its historic developments in recognition of the need to foster interest in this field. This program seeks to raise awareness among faculty and legal students while also stimulating thought-provoking conversations.

Eligibility

Law students and faculties from recognized universities throughout the country will be eligible to take part in the webinar. 

Speaker

To ensure comprehensive coverage of the topic, we have invited Prof. Tarun who is an Assistant Professor (Research) at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU). His pursuit of his first LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law from GNLU is indicative of his dedication to legal studies.

With an LLM in Sports Law and Practice from De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom, he is currently pursuing excellence. Mr. Tarun’s numerous invitations to speak at esteemed institutions attest to his proficiency in sports law.
