The plea filed by advocate Vishal Acharya stated that the said notification is beyond legislative competence and contrary to legal precedents.
“Implementation of the notification will lead to death of democracy by giving arbitrary powers to the Chief Minister regarding appointment of speaker in the assembly of State,” the plea highlighted.
