In the alternative, the government should subject itself to existing arbitration institutions, Justice DY Chandrachud said while hearing a case relating to arbitrator’s fees.
“Why doesn’t the Government of India either set up an arbitration institution or get governed by any existing institutions for disputes involving governmental bodies?” Justice Chandrachud asked.
