The nature of cases coming up before the Supreme Court, require constant training process and upgradation of skills, Justice Kaul opined.
He explained that with some specialised tribunals coming up and their challenges being dealt by the court, it was time we spread the net to cover good lawyers across judicial areas who are willing to accept judgeship.
“If we do that, we will get talent of specialist judges at least in High Courts and the Supreme Court. Though nobody would want to sit continuously on the same subject matter, the specialisation should be utilised for having particular kind of matters, dealt by particular judges.”
