Supreme Court to commemorate first ever ‘International Day of Women Judges’ on March 10

The online programme will commence at 5 pm and will be attended by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and women judges of the Supreme Court – Justices Indira Banerjee, Hima Kohli, BV Nagarathna and Bela M Trivedi.

According to a press release by the Supreme Court, all the women judges of the Constitutional courts and all the women judicial officers from across the country have been invited to join the programme, online.

“As directed by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India, the Registry of the Supreme Court is hosting a special programme to commemorate the first ever ‘International Day of Women Judges’ on 10 March, 2022. The online programme will commence at 5 pm. All the women Hon’ble Judges of the Constitutional Courts and all the women Judicial Officers from across the country are invited to join the programme, online,” the press release stated.
