Speakers

Professor Adithya Variath

Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, coordinates the Centre for Research in Air and Space Law and serves as an Expert at UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab. His notable works include ‘International Space Law in the New Space Era’ and ‘A Handbook of International Aviation Law.

Tanushree Joshi

Tanushree Joshi, Senior Legal and Business Development Manager at HEX20 Global, is a member of the IISL Working Group on Light Pollution. A former Skyroot Aerospace employee and gold medalist from ILS Law College, Pune, she has extensive experience in space law and policy and has presented papers at international forums.

Shravani Shagun Jha

Shrawani, an Indian advocate and National Point of Contact for India at SGAC, is a PhD candidate in space law at the TERI School of Advanced Studies. Awarded the Max Planck Scholarship, she has taught law at various universities and is a member of IISL and the Association for International Legal Research on Space Sustainability.

Pankaj Mehta

Pankaj Mehta, a Research Coordinator at the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) and former SES Satellites intern, is pursuing an Advanced LL.M. in Air and Space Law at Leiden University. He holds a B.A.LL.B.(HONS.) from Dharmashastra National Law University and has worked on projects in space law and policy.
