UPSC tells Delhi High Court it will give Puja Khedkar copy of order cancelling her IAS candidature

The statement was made by Senior Advocate Naresh Kaushik appearing for UPSC before Justice Jyoti Singh.

The Court was hearing a plea filed by former trainee IAS officer Khedkar challenging the UPSC’s press release stating that her candidature has been cancelled.

Senior Advocate Indira Jaising appeared for Khedkar and told the Court that cancellation order was never communicated to her but the news came to her only through the press release.

The Court said that Khedkar will give her address to the UPSC and the order should be supplied to her both by physical mode and electronically.

The Court added that for other reliefs like challenge to the cancellation order, Khedkar will have to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).

Justice Singh then disposed of the plea.
