The Indian-origin businessman has sued India Today, The Tribune, Startup Insider, Tumblr and several other media platforms. He has also made YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Meta, and Twitter (X) parties to the case and has sought take down of the allegedly defamatory articles.
Several articles have been published by the media channels alleging that Srivastava posed as a CIA agent and tried to con his way to control a company.
Another news report said that US President Joe Biden’s campaign froze donations from Srivastava while yet another story claimed that the US-based think tank Atlantic Council was under pressure over the donations received from him.
