About the Institution
University Law College & Dept. of Studies in Law, Bangalore University, was started in the year 1948 as a Government Law College and subsequently became University Law College, Bangalore.
About the Vidhana Sabha Committee
Alongside the pivotal need for students to be aware of the intricacies of International Law, we also believe that it is just as crucial for young minds to understand the inner workings of our very own State Legislature.
Therefore, we would like to introduce the Vidhana Sabha Committee which will be a simulation of the Legislature of the state of Karnataka. Being aware of the need for deliberations on regional issues in vernacular languages, we deem the simulation of Vidhana Sabha to be an essential part of our event.
Agenda
Discussing the recommendations made by the Justice Nagmohan Das Committee Report regarding Reservations in Karnataka.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students of 11th and 12th or any of its equivalent in a government-recognised institution.
- Students of Under-Graduate degree/Post-Graduate degree in a government-recognized educational.
- Restricted to Karnataka.
Registration Fee
Rs. 300/- per participant.
