The laws, which will replace the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure and Indian Evidence Act, are slated to come into force on July 1.
The resolution was passed at the Bar Council meeting held on June 25 wherein the members of the Council expressed their unanimous views regarding new criminal laws and resolved the three laws are anti-people and undemocratic and will cause great hardships the common man.
