Providing a push to the entrepreneurial aspirations of high-school students to kickstart their startup journey from an early age, Clever Harvey is offering a first-of-its-kind incubation program. The Incubation Program aims to give high school students a real life startup experience and help them build their ideas into a full-fledged business. As part of the program, 20 teams selected will receive 1:1 mentorship and funding from startup founders and entrepreneurs at every milestone they achieve. The mentorship sessions, funds, and advice will help teens translate their ideas into prototypes and launches. At the same time, the career exploration and acceleration platform will also provide accessible infrastructure to the selected startups to build their product.
Out of the 20 selected startups, the top 5 that shows the most traction will receive a seed grant of Rs. 25,000 each from Clever Harvey. Speaking on the development, Sriram Subramanian, Co-Founder & CEO, said, “Teenagers have immense reserves of energy, creativity and empathy – the three most essential ingredients to become entrepreneurs. The idea behind launching this first-of-its-kind incubation program is to help nurture their business ideas into reality. With one-to-one mentorship and support over 12 weeks, these students will transform their idea into a product and learn how to get their first set of real customers. We aim to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship while encouraging innovation, and collaboration among students between 14 to 18 years of age.’’
Clever Harvey’s Summer or Winter Incubation Program is a 3-month program with three milestones, including Idea, Launch and Traction. Any student (age 14 to 18) can apply for the program, which is free of cost.
The application process for the Winter Incubation Program is on and is open till 7th October 2021.
