GoPaisa Clocks 150 Crore GMV In 3 Weeks

The rising traction has enabled the platform to cross 2 times the target GMV for the year, with the sale witnessed in just 3 weeks of the festive sale.

GoPaisa- Cashback and Coupons Website in India, has announced clocking a GMV of 150cr INR alone in first three weeks of festive season sale. The brand had recently announced the target of INR 200 CR GMV to be covered by the end of the current fiscal. In the first three weeks of the festive sales itself, the platform saw, a 2.5x jump in the Month-on-Month traction.

The rising traction has enabled the platform to cross 2 times the target GMV for the year, with the sale witnessed in just 3 weeks of the festive sale. Overall, the brand has witnessed, 4x rise in the sale for festive season compared to last year.

“We were hoping to see a 200% rise in the sale compared to the covid numbers, We understand that the post lockdown trends are impacting the trajectory and consumer behavior. It is not just a rise in order numbers, but also a change in the preferred categories. Digital products, Fitness products, jewelry, and EdTech offers are the newfound interests of the users. People shifted online during the lockdown and the same trend is only growing stronger with each day. This is the first festive season after the complete lift of the lockdown, and e-Commerce players are overwhelmed with the response,” said Ms. Ankita Jain- GoPaisa

The top categories at the brand including – electronics, digital products, mobiles, fashion recorded a 3x rise in the traction. Until September ends the platform had recorded over 3 lac transactions, all in all. However, since the festive season sale, the number took off to 3x. The top categories at the brand include – Digital products which account for 30% of the entire revenue pool of the brand GoPaisa. The major traction is being witnessed by tier 2 cities in India, followed by tier 3 cites like Haridwar, Indore, Vapi, Thiruvananthapuram and others.
