Kavita Gupta, Former ConsenSys Ventures Head To Raise $50M For New Fund

Gupta started building this fund six weeks ago which will invest in nonfungible tokens, scalability, and the like.

Kavita Gupta, former ConsenSys Ventures head has recently launched the Delta Blockchain Fund, with a corpus of USD 50 to 100 Mn.  In her previous role, she has managed several USD 50Mn funds.

The new fund is already oversubscribed during its first close, at over USD 30 million. It has attracted investment from founders of Polygon, Quantstamp, Klaus Hommels from Lakestar, among others. Gupta started building this fund six weeks ago which will invest in nonfungible tokens, scalability, and the like. She has launched this fund because she wants to support companies that cater to her sensibilities and belief. Another agenda is to bridge the ga between men and women investors. Women of color still form a minority when it comes to heading investment funds. Thus far the fund has invested in Nahmii, Swap Kiwi, Metaverse AI, Fodl, and Taker.
