Slurrp Farm – A food brand offering healthy snacks and mealtime options for young children and fitness-oriented families have raised a Series A round from Fireside Ventures, a multi-stage venture fund investing across the early growth stages of the business with a focus on consumer brands. Slurrp Farm plans to deploy the funds raised for product innovation, marketing, and increasing inventory to cater to the increasing demand.
The brand is also looking to strengthen its team and fortify its D2C channel. The company is passionate about growing with Conscious Capitalism at the heart of its endeavors and is looking to hire talent to join this journey. Making products that are good for the consumer (nutrition-dense), good for the farmer, and good for the planet (bio diverse) is core to what the brand stands for. Their ARR has grown 300% during the last 6 months and they are looking to grow at the same rate to an ARR of $5-6mm in the next 12 months.
In just over 4 years, the brand has been able to build a robust portfolio of 25 products which include porridges and cereals, puffed snacks for children, millet pancakes, millet dosa, and cake mixes which are now available in 600+ retail stores and leading online grocery shopping portals across India, UAE, and Singapore. Their plans include opening new cities within India and expanding their geographical footprint in the UAE.
The shift in consumer behavior to a healthier lifestyle helped Slurrp Farm grab shelf and mind space during the pandemic. It has registered a 3x growth from February 2020 to date.
