Thingsup Raises $100K From GSF Accelerator

This round of investment will facilitate the ever-rising demand for digitalizing the cold chain logistics, the market for which is rapidly growing due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Pune-based “iobot”, the parent company of IoT platform Thingsup has raised $100,000 from GSF Accelerator, backed by founders including Dinesh Agarwal, CEO of Indiamart; Rajesh Sawhney, Founder and CEO of GSF Accelerator; Pras Hanuma, J. Murugavel, CEO of Matrimony.com, and CEO of Infoquest. 

This round of investment will facilitate the ever-rising demand for digitalizing the cold chain logistics, the market for which is rapidly growing due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Thingsup is a SaaS-based platform that comes with ready-to-use wireless IoT sensors and enables businesses to digitalize their entire supply chain operations within a few days, instead of months. iobot was founded by Pranav Naiknavare and Akshay Ghadage in 2016.

Founded in 2012, GSF is a technology accelerator in India, with an impressive portfolio that includes Slintel, Whatfix, Quizizz, DocsApp, Citymall, Gamezop, Flinto, Well Being, Zen Duty, Vaultedge, and Khabri. 

The accelerator has also had several successful exits, including Dailyrounds which was acquired by M3 Japan;  Little Eye Labs acquired by Facebook, and Pokkt acquired by Anymind, a Japanese company, among others.
