Flights with no babies to AI rings; brands went all out on April Fools

April Fools 2023 saw brands taking extra steps to prank the audience and trolling them. Social Samosa takes a look at some witty campaigns and brand creatives.

April 1st didn’t just have people’s WhatsApp messages filled with pranks, but brands also took some extra fun in pranking users on the internet. Some took some extra effort and pre-planned their pranks aka campaigns while some stuck with some witty brand creatives. 

Chingles rolled out their campaign titled #ChinglesGetsTheGOAT and asked their users to guess the brand’s pick for the GOAT and had users flood in with their assumptions. 

On the other hand, Cleartrip gave hope to their consumers by ‘launching’ a ‘no-baby’ flight for a relaxing journey but this appealing story had more to it. 

Swiggy took a dig at a very relatable scenario while Mumbai Police got the facts straight with a punny word-play.
