Day 2 of the ABBY Awards saw winners across seven different categories. This year, Leo Burnett India grabbed the Grand Prix in the Digital category.
On day 2 of Goafest 2023, ABBY Awards celebrated the industry’s Broadcaster, Public Relations, Design, Direct, Technology, Digital, and Mobile categories with multiple sub-categories.
Digital Abby had the highest number of winners on Day 2 with 65 metals. The category saw 1 Grand Prix, 6 Gold, 15 Silver, 37 Bronze and 6 Merit.
Leo Burnett India bagged the Grand Prix under the sub-category ‘Craft – Creative use of Video’ for Airtel 175 Replayed. The agency network took home three Gold metals, followed by Enormous, White Rivers Media and Wunderman Thompson India bagging one Gold metal each.
The category saw 49 Metals, with three Gold, 13 Silver, 16 Bronze and 17 Merit. COG Culture bagged the title of Design Specialist Agency of The Year.
FCB Group India bagged a Gold under the sub-category ‘Craft in Design – Use of Illustration’ won SHUBH DAHAN.
Leo Burnett India bagged two Gold metals under the sub-categories Environment Design and Best Integrated Design Campaign for ‘The Missing Chapter.’
In this category, a total of six Gold, eight Silver, four Bronze and nine merits were announced. The broadcaster category saw a total of 18 winners.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited won the Broadcaster of the Year Award. The network grabbed a Gold for Dance Karnataka Dance – S6 under the sub-category ‘Best TV reality show promo.’
Sony entertainment television grabbed Gold metals for Kaun Banega crorepati season 14 (launch), Kaun Banega crorepati season 14 ( launch-sanju) and Dance Karnataka Dance – S6.
FCB Group India, Leo Burnett India and Social Panga were the top three agencies in this category to grab eight, seven and four metals respectively.
FCB Group India bagged four Gold metals, followed by Leo Burnett and VMLY&R.
FCB Group India won the ‘Direct Specialist Agency of the Year’ and took home 10 metals. The group won two Gold metals under the sub-category ‘Work done for Social Awareness or Charity Causes’ for ‘Unbox Me’ and ‘Chatpat.’
Mindshare bagged a Gold under the sub-category Direct- Direct response digital for Thumbstopping Beauty Biases.
The category saw a total of 38 winners, with three Gold, 12 Silver, 13 Bronze and 10 Merit.
The category saw 20 winners with three Gold, six Silver, seven Bronze and 4 Merit.
Madison World bagged a Gold under the sub-category ‘Best use of Technology for community management /building’ for Nicotex’s ‘Quit smoking with your friend Nico!’
Leo Burnett India won a Gold under the sub-category ‘Best Use of Voice Service in a digital platform/using digital technology’ for Josh’s Safe Swipe.
Mindshare shone in Gold under the sub-category Best Creative use of Tech Innovation for Dove’s Thumbstopping Beauty Biases.
The category saw 15 metals, two gold, five Silver, four Bronze and four Merit. Mindshare grabbed the ‘Mobile Specialist Agency of The Year’ title.
Mindshare bagged Gold under the sub-category ‘Mobile Technology’ for Dove’s Thumbstopping Beauty Biases.
IBS Fulcro won Gold under the sub-category ‘Mobile /Tablet Site’ for Kotak General Insurance’s The Text And Drive Challenge Mobile Site.
