The biggest buzzword on TV these days has been the Eka Kapoor-produced supernatural drama Naagin 6. And it is not just the leading ladies on the show who are being talked about, but also the hero has been grabbing lots of eyeballs. Yes, actor Simba Nagpal who we last saw on Bigg Boss 15 is also a part of the show. And other than his good looks Simba has a lot to offer to the Naagin franchise this season. I recently caught up with the actor and we spoke about the show, his life post-Bigg Boss, and also reuniting once again with Tejasswi Prakash.
Check this fun video of Simba from the sets of Naagin 6:
Here are the excerpts from the interview:
On his character in Naagin 6…
Yes, I am too excited. I am playing two shades of one character, he is all patriotic to deal with the pandemic. The show is very different this time, you will get to see a lot of realism this time. I am extremely passionate about acting and playing this character, I hope everything falls in place.
On how things have changed after Bigg Boss 15…
Definitely, the show does that for you. Of course, I have changed, but only for the good. I am an improved version of myself.
On if there is a pressure of being a part of such a big franchise…
To be honest, I didn’t feel any pressure on my head, but a sense of responsibility surely came in. But there is a thin line between pressure and responsibility, you feel pressured when you doubt yourself with responsibility. I have full faith in myself and God. I have been working hard for the same. God has never been unjust to me, in fact, he has given me more than I have done.
On working with Tejasswi Prakash once again…
It was really nice. The way she seemed inside, was very different, outside, our bond has grown even more. In Bigg Boss, we did not have that much communication, but now our bond has become great.
Naagin 6 also stars Mahek Chahal, Urvashi Dholakia, and Sudha Chandran in important roles, other than Simba and Tejasswi. The show premiered on Colors TV last weekend. And, I am looking forward to this story unfolding.
