Shabaash Mithu is directed by Rahul Dholakia and stars Taapsee Pannu, and Vijay Raaz, As it is an Indian biopic film so you will find more about the personal life of legendary female cricketer of India.
Taapsee Pannu has prepared a lot for the role, she practiced with Mithali Raj in the nets to get her stance and playing techniques right on the screen. The film was delayed due to covid 19 pandemic, but she still continued her practice with Mithali, and the film shooting resumed after the unlock 3.
Now the film is scheduled to release on 15 July 2022.
The scenes of the film were shot in real locations like Lord’s cricket ground and many personal locations from Mithali’s life.
You will see other female cricketers in the film and their relationship with Mithali Raj, like Mumtaz Sorcar playing Jhulan Goswami in the film.
