I am making celery juice with fresh stalks of celery bought from the store and it not only helps in losing weight but also has many other benefits to the juice. It has many health advantages and one should definitely try out the drink at least weekly twice or thrice.
It has many properties that can cure many ailments naturally and keep the skin and body fresh healthy and glowing.
The juice needs any juicer or blender to extract the juice and it does not require many ingredients to make this celery juice. It just needs one main ingredient and extracting the juice out of it is quick and simple with any extractor.
I have tried to make it using a blender and it turned out to be a success. The only key thing is to add a little water to the celery while making it.
How to cut celery?
Celery is a long stalk with a pale green colour and the pack comes with long tightly packed stalks. The long stalks can be separated individually to break down or cut into small pieces.
Always make sure to buy fresh tightly packed stalks of celery. Take a knife, separate the long stalks and break them into small pieces.
If one is able to chop off the whole bunch into pieces, it is fine. The stalks are slightly hard and need some force to chop. It is better to cut them slowly and steadily.
Once cut, place the celery pieces in water to remove any impurities attached to them. Once washed well, take them out and use them for any purpose. Here, I will be using the washed pieces to make the juice.

Ingredients
Celery: I am using fresh celery stalks and one can also chop off the small leaves and add them to the juice while blending.
Water: Sometimes, the juice does not blend well and to give a start adding little water to help blend well without leaving chunks is necessary. I am adding little water but the juice can also be made without adding water.
How to make the celery juice?
Take the bunch of celery and unpack them. Take them out and separate the stalks into individual stalks.
Take a knife and chop them into small pieces to support better blending.
Add all the pieces to a mixing bowl with water, rinse them well and take them out.
Add the washed pieces to a blending jar.
Add little water.
Blend the juice for a minute or two without any chunks remaining.
Strain the juice and discard the pulp.
Pour the juice into a glass.
Serve.
Variations
The juice can taste slightly bitter as the celery tastes quite different and is sometimes hard to consume. It is better to add some honey to the drink and to aid in weight loss adding some ginger while blending or lemon juice while serving can help.
Also, adding any fruit such as apple that is red or green as well as adding a banana can make the drink even more healthy.
Side effects: It can cause allergies as some are prone to allergic reactions to celery. Therefore, it is highly advised to consult your physician or doctor before using celery.
When to drink?
For celery juice weight loss benefits or digestion, benefits try to consume it on an empty stomach or consume it before every meal. Always maintain a gap of 20 to 30 minutes between the juice and meal for better performance.
