If you read this, you will think that why she didn’t write anything about maha’s birthday. But please be patient, i am working on it..I thought of sharing her 1st birthday cake recipe and write everything there. I will be posting that recipe today.so make sure you check them.
Before that i wanted to share this samosa recipe. Normally i make samosa all from scratch..You can check out my Punjabi samosa and Tapioca samosa..But few weeks back when i went shopping, i saw this readymade samosa patti in the freezer section, i was so excited to see that because my super market never carries them so far. So i took a packet and came home happily.
At first i wanted to make chicken samosa using them. But i used them to make vegetable samosa for maha’s birthday part yesterday..It came out superb and everyone loved them..If you don’t have the samosa patti on hand, you can make them from scratch using the recipe from my tapioca samosa..
Ingredients for Vegetable Samosa Recipe
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 Potatoes boiled
20 Samosa Patti
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Water
Oil for Deep frying
How to Make Vegetable Samosa Recipe
Heat oil in a kadai. Add in onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown.
Add in spice powders and mix well.
Add in Grated carrots and mix well. Sprinkle in salt, tomato ketchup and mix well.
Add in boiled potatoes and mix well.
Take a samosa sheet, spoon in the filling. Fold it like a samosa. When you come to the end apply a paste of flour and shape like samosa.
Fry till crispy.
Drain and serve.
