Bulli Bai case: Accused Neeraj Singh remanded to 5-day police custody by Mumbai court

The Mumbai Police is investigating the following accused in the case so far:

Vishal Jha: The 21-year-old engineering student from Bengaluru was the first arrest in the case. He was arrested from Bangalore, remanded to police custody and then was sent to judicial custody after he contracted COVID.

Mayank Rawat: The-21-year-old science under-grad student from Uttarakhand was also arrested immediately after Jha and was remanded to 3-day police custody. He was also sent to judicial custody after testing positive for COVID.

Shweta Singh: The youngest arrested accused in the case, also from Uttarakhand was brought along with Rawat and kept in police custody for interrogation. She claimed that she had been slapped during interrogation.

Neeraj Bishnoi and Omkareshwar Thakur: They were arrested by Delhi Police before being brought to Mumbai by the Mumbai Police. While Bishnoi is accused of creating the application on which the alleged objectionable auctions took place, Thakur is accused of an older Sulli Deals case. The accused were taken into police custody till January 27, 2022 for investigation in the Mumbai FIR.
