Submissions of Papers are invited for Equity by Project Juris for the year 2024. The last date of submission is April 15.

The editorial board of Project Juris is inviting applications of original and unpublished papers for the upcoming print of ‘Equity’: The International Commercial Law Journal; Volume 1 Issue 1.

About Project Juris

Project Juris is a research-based legal start-up and initiative that primarily aims to provide legal professionals, students, academicians, and people with the necessary information and knowledge to understand topics of all ranges of comprehensibility and understanding.

This initiative aims to build a legal bank and knowledgeable community by providing the necessary details and particulars on the topic from a wide range of possibilities and helping them implement a better understanding of the Law.

About the Journal

Equity: The International Commercial Law Journal is a bi-annual double-blind peer-reviewed journal that Project Juris aims to publish with a focus on domestic and international business and commercial laws governing them. The Journal intends to foster academic scholarship in commercial law by examining the myriad regulatory and legal frameworks impacting businesses across the globe, with special emphasis on the laws prevailing in India. Our mandate includes well-analysed papers with focus on:

  • Company Law
  • Securities Law
  • Banking and Finance Law
  • Tax Law
  • International Investment Law
  • International Commercial Arbitration Law
  • Commercial Dispute Resolution Law
  • Contract Law
  • Employment Law, and
  • Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law.

About the Issue

Project Juris is inviting unpublished paper for the Issue 1 of Volume 1 of Equity: The International Commercial Law Journal with focus on commercial and insolvency laws surrounding the business in India as well as internationally. We are accepting research papers, articles, case briefs/reviews and book reviews on the topics as mentioned in the About the Journal section.

Eligibility

Student of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programmes along with academicians and legal professionals are eligible to make submissions for this issue.

Submission Guidelines

  • The following guidelines need to be adhered to while submitting articles and analyses:
    • Word Limit:
    • Research Paper: 5000-8000 words
    • Articles: 2000-5000 words
    • Case Analysis and Briefs: 1500- 2500 words
    • Book Review: 1000-2000 words.
  • Formatting:
    • Font- Times New Roman
    • Font Size- 12
    • Line Spacing: 1.5
    • Margins- Defined and Uniform
  • Footnotes/Citation Style: A uniform footnote and citation style should be followed by the authors with relevant sources should be hyperlinked.
  • Co-authorship of a maximum of 3 people is allowed for every category.
  • All submissions made should be the original work of the author and the plagiarism limit should be below 10%.
  • All the moral rights shall vest with the author and it is suggested that the submission be politically neutral and abuse-free.
  • While submitting the manuscript, the author should ensure that the work is not under publication or in consideration for publishing somewhere else.
  • The manuscripts should abide by the above-mentioned guidelines and the final discretion of acceptance of the manuscript lies with the Editorial Board.
  • Acceptance of submissions will be communicated to the author(s) after being reviewed as per the policy within 120 days of their submission. (The journal follows a double-blind peer-reviewed policy).
  • All submissions should be made by submitting the relevant sections of the form link provided below.

How to Submit?

  • The authors should fill all the relevant sections of the form link as provided below and should submit the manuscript of the work in both, Microsoft Word as well as PDF versions.
  • The last date to submit the papers is 15th April, 2024. No extensions shall be provided in any scenario.
  • The manuscript will be screened as per the policies, as mentioned above, and will go through the double-blind peer review process.
  • The authors, by submitting their entries, will be deemed to have divested the copyright to Project Juris. However, all moral rights shall remain with the Author(s).

Perks

The author(s) will be provided with a certificate of publication and a free soft copy of all the Issues and Volumes of ‘Equity’: The International Commercial Law Journal, as and when published.

The Journal will also include article submissions from industry leaders and academicians along with legal practitioners with expertise in the relevant field. Getting published in ‘Equity: The International Commercial Law Journal’ will add immensely to the reputation and stature of the author.

The published authors may also be eligible to join the team of Project Juris and be a part of the editorial team, as decided by the board.
