A notification to this effect was published on the website of Department of Law and Justice on Tuesday i.e., May 31.
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Smt. Shampa Dutt (Paul), to be an Additional Judge of the Calcutta High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date she assumes charge of her office and (ii) Shri Siddhartha Roy Chowdhury, to be an Additional Judge of the Calcutta High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office, till 27.12.2023.”
