International Journal of Law and Management Studies is seeking submissions in the form of a call for papers for its Volume 4, Issue I.

About the Journal

The International Journal of Law and Management Studies (IJLMS) is an online journal established in 2016 focused on the interaction between law, legal research and management studies and covers all themes and topics within the fold of each domain as well as those which intersect the two, such as business laws, regulatory environment, corporate laws, FEMA and other areas which generate contributions on existing literature and research fora.

IJLMS encourages young students and researchers to explore the domains of law, legal research as well as management studies and enable them to explore challenges in the said domain and work on solutions that contribute towards easing regulatory climate and contribute to the overall socio-economic scenario comprehensively.

Theme

Submissions are encouraged in any theme involving any of the following:

• Law and Legal Research; and
• Management Research.

What manuscripts are accepted?

We accept submissions of manuscripts which are original, not submitted elsewhere and intended to be published by the Author(s). The types of manuscripts and word limits are:

• Research Papers: 5000 words;
• Articles: 4000 words;
• Case Studies: 4000 words;
• Case Comments: 2000 words.

While the word limits outlined above are intended to ensure qualitative contributions are made to the journal, the Editorial Board may consider and accept any other submissions that exceed the word limit if found to be worthy of publication.

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions must be original and not published or submitted elsewhere. Authors are responsible for undertaking the same, as and when required;
• Manuscripts must be submitted using the form in an MS word document format.
• The manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 400 words;
• The submission should not be plagiarized, and free from grammatical, spelling, and other errors.
• Full names of all authors and co-authors must be provided;
• Any uniform method of citation may be followed;
• Body of the manuscript must be in Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.15 line spacing; and
• Footnotes must be in Times New Roman, Size 10, 1 Line spacing.

Submission Cohorts

For the Volume IV Issue I due to be released in the month of April 2024, we will accept submissions until February 29, 2024. Submissions made thereafter may be considered for the next edition.

• All submissions can be made through the Submission Form provided at the end of the post;
• Alternatively, where authors are unable to submit using the Google Form, submissions may be emailed to info@ijlms.in with the subject “Submission for Volume IV Issue I“.

Publication Fee

After acceptance of the manuscript, the IJLMS Editorial Board charges a fixed fee based on the type of submission and number of authors for the purpose of offsetting journal operation charges, open-access availability and other aspects.

• Research Papers & Articles – Rs. 1,500 (Single Author); Rs. 500/- (for additional authors).
• Case Studies & Case Comments – Rs. 1,000 (Single Author) Rs. 500/- (for additional authors).

The publication fee is payable by authors only after acceptance of manuscript.

Rewards

The best paper submission of the Volume IV Issue I would receive an exemption from payment of the Publication Fee from the Editorial Board and a Certificate of Merit, apart from an internship opportunity with one or more journals affiliated.
