Appearing for the petitioner, Senior Advocate CU Singh told the Court that there has been a call for a large number of protests in the National Capital Region and that there were concerns of hate speech being made calling for the genocide of one community.
“There are 5 more protests in the evening in sensitive areas like Karawal Nagar,” Singh said.
“Authorities are aware and they have to take action in terms of our order,” the Court replied.
“We are bound to comply with Justice Joseph’s judgment,” Additional Solicitor General ASV Raju assured.
“Take precautions in sensitive areas.. deploy additional police force.. have CCTV cameras,” the Court remarked, in turn.
