How did you Apply?

I applied by sending my CV and Cover Letter to vedantayadav[at]lawtimesjournal.in. After the submission, I was then selected for the telephonic interview by one of the editors of LTJ.

After my interview, I was notified by the editor that I would be an intern for the News Department.

First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression

On the first day, me and four other interns were given a brief of what our main tasks were by the Head of the News Department through Zoom call.

Main Tasks

During the internship period, we were tasked with writing daily news articles and other content for the website and its YouTube channel The Entrant. The articles had a minimum word limit of 150 words, and we had to write at least one article a day. Furthermore, we had to make weekly legal update videos which summed up the important news of that week.

Good things

From this internship, I was able to be kept updated on important legal news and issues. This was a major benefit as I was able to use this knowledge in all my class discussions. The internship was also accommodating of any issues i.e., if we were unwell, we were given the day off.

Bad things

There was nothing negative about the internship.

Anything else?

I highly recommend this internship for first-year students as it helps them be kept up to date with the legal news. Also, it was said at the beginning of the internship that interns who perform the best would be able to become a part of the Law times Journal editorial team.
