Migration and Asylum Project (MAP) is looking for research interns and is inviting applications for the same.
About MAP
M.A.P or Migration and Asylum Project is India’s only dedicated law center for refugee law and migration studies. It was established on February 20, 2013, under its parent Organisation, The Ara Trust.
It is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010, and under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. M.A.P is a women-led organization with all-woman management.
About the Opportunity
The internship will involve researching on state labor rules. The duration of internship starts from August 14, 2023 onwards, however the start date is flexible depending on the availability of the selected candidate. Dates can be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the interview.

Roles and responsibilities
To assist with an ongoing research on the study of state labour rules enacted pursuant to the New Labour Codes and to undertake other project-related activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate law students, or candidates in their 4th/5th year of 5 year LL.B. programme or 3rd year of 3 year LL.B. programme will be given preference.
- Prior experience in labour laws will be preferred.
