About the Organisation
Young Lawyers Forum is a non-profit registered society based in Kashmir. At YLF, law students, lawyers, and legal activists work collectively towards imparting legal awareness, and legal education and providing free legal aid and advice.
The dissemination of legal information among the general public for awareness purposes through various modes forms one of the core objectives of YLF. Besides disseminating legal knowledge, YLF also promotes legal research and undertakes pro-bono litigations regarding matters of public interest and environmental protection.
About the Internship
Interns at Young Lawyers Forum will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the Litigation Working Group, delving into real-world cases and researching various issues related to public interest litigation projects.
The nature of the work will involve in-depth legal research, analysis, and drafting assignments. This hands-on experience will provide interns with invaluable insights into the workings of the legal system and a platform to make a meaningful impact on society.
The internship program will run for a minimum period of one month and can be extended as per the performance of the candidates. The applicants shall be provided the certificates at the completion of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
They are looking for dedicated and motivated law students/lawyers who meet the following criteria:
- 3rd year or above law students in a 5-year BALLB program or 2nd year or above students in a 3-year law program at a recognized university in India/Law graduates.
- Strong research and drafting skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Important Note: Those candidates who are interested in applying can submit their CVs/Resumes along with any College/Bar-issued document (ID card, Fee Receipt, etc.) to serve as proof of identity. The shortlisted candidates may be called for a brief interview on the phone. This step may be skipped depending on the quality of the application.
