IPR Awareness Program by DPIIT, Govt of India and CIPR UPES Dehradun [Feb 4]: Register by Feb 3

An IPR Awareness Program is being conducted by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in collaboration with the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR) of UPES Dehradun, on February 4, 2022.

About CIPR

The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights, UPES Dehradun has been incorporated with the objective of enhancing the aspects on Intellectual Property Laws and promoting holistic development and extensive research about relatively newer concepts in the field of IPRs. 

About UPES

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 with an ambitious vision and unique approach to establish professional development among its students.

About the Event

As India celebrates its 75th Anniversary of Independence in 2022, an initiative called “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” has been taken by our Government to mark the journey of our independence.

As part of this whole mission, the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR), UPES in collaboration with the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry has come up with an IPR Awareness Program being conducted on February 4, 2022, from 3 PM onwards.

The aim of the program is to highlight Intellectual Property Rights as a domain that has gained much prominence in the last few years, especially for its multi-disciplinary scope.

This IPR awareness program is being conducted virtually so that students, academicians and all IPR enthusiasts can get insight on various kinds of Intellectual Property Rights. On the completion of the program, every attendee shall be given an e-certificate from the concerned authority.
