About Central Polution Control Board
The Central Pollution Control Board of India is a statutory organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It was established in 1974 under the Water Act, 1974. The CPCB is also entrusted with the powers and functions under the Air Act, 1981.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution; and
- Should have five years of experience as an Officer of the State Judicial, or
- Should have five years of experience in the Legal Department of a State; or
- Should be a Central Government servant, who has five years of experience in legal affairs; or
- Should be a qualified legal practitioner, who has practiced as such for five years.
