About the Opportunity
As an experienced mid-to-senior level in-house counsel, you will be working closely with procurement, contract, and legal teams advising on a wide range of matters across the company, in areas such as commercial transactions, contracts, intellectual property, corporate and more.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, revise, and review revenue contracts which may include perpetual and term licenses, technology partnerships, non-disclosure, IP issues, cloud-based services agreements, professional services agreements, and statements of work.
- Advise and support senior stakeholders on deals providing commercially sound advice while mitigating risks for the Company.
- IP protection – trademarks, copyright, etc
- Partner with procurement, finance, sales, services, technology, and product teams to help craft deals that conform with corporate practices and vendor requirements while ensuring obligations are clearly documented.
- Legal compliances- Examine the legal issues related to new products and services
- Work with product and engineering teams to create solutions for legal and non-legal issues.
- Support corporate risk compliance programs and matters (e.g. export, data privacy, anti-corruption).
Eligibility
- Licensed attorney with 5-15 years of combined law firm and/or in-house.
- Must have some hands-on experience & knowledge of software / Technology Services / Cloud Solutions
- The position demands strong analytical ability, attention to detail, persuasiveness, logical reasoning, and sound judgment skills.
- Sound experience in handling large legal projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
- Effective communicator and team player, with excellent problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
