JOB POST: Young Professionals at the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade [1 Year PQE; Salary Rs. 70k-90k]: Apply by June 13

Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) invites online applications for the Young Professional (Non-ICT) post.

About DPIIT

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade is a central government department under India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It is responsible for the formulation and implementation of promotional and developmental measures for the growth of the industrial sector, keeping in view the national priorities and socio-economic objectives.

While individual administrative ministries look after the production, distribution, development, and planning aspects of specific industries allocated to them, DPIIT is responsible for the overall industrial policy. It is also responsible for facilitating and increasing the foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to the country.

Eligibility

Young Professional (Non-ICT) Grade 1

Manipal University
  • Master’s degree in Economics or Law or Management or Engineering or Candidates having qualification of CA/ICWA/CS.
  • Minimum one-year post-qualification experience.
  • Experience up to 3 years for PhD holders will also be considered, provided no other work experience counted during those three years.

Young Professional (Non-ICT) Grade 2

  • Master’s degree in Economics or Law or Management or Engineering or Candidates having qualification of CA/ICWA/CS.
  • Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in a Government of India Ministry/Department as a Young Professional/Consultant.
  • Work experience after completion of the minimum essential qualification against which the candidate is applying will be counted as practical experience.
  • Experience up to 3 years for PhD holders will also be considered if it is in addition to the minimum three years experience in a Government of India Ministry/Department as a Young Professional/Consultant provided no other work experience counted during those three years.
