Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay to join BJP, says decision on contesting Lok Sabha polls rests with Party

In a press conference held shortly after his resignation, Justice Gangopadhyay stated his intention to join the BJP formally on March 7.

But whether he would contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls or not would be a decision which the BJP election committee will take, he said.

“Whether I contest polls or not l, I will remain in BJP. It is only a pan India party which is fighting a criminal party like Trinamool Congress,” he said.
