Karnataka High Court seeks government response on grant of permanent licences to mosque loudspeakers

A bench of Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi and Justice Ashok S Kinagi asked the State government to clarify the provisions under which such permanent licencing was taking place, and apprise the court regarding action being taken in compliance with the the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
