Good things about the University based on your personal experience

Faculty members are beneficial, in the way they teach students and make them understand every single thing until students get satisfied.

Students are very intelligent and give tough competition to each other. Co-curricular activities are also there. Students take part in different projects, webinars, seminars etc.

Bad things about the University based on your personal experience

I think they’re over-possessive towards their students. They try their best to complete the syllabus on time which creates pressure on students.

One more thing which I want to add is that they pay more attention to academic processes than other co-curricular activities. Odd jobs and internships are really difficult.

How’s the faculty?

I already mentioned above that faculty members are really nice. Well, exceptions are always there. Some teachers are really helpful, but some are less in class they make sure that they make every student understand every single point.

How’s the infrastructure? Mention some of the things that exist.

The infrastructure is really nice. The building is so clean and tidy. From classrooms to washrooms everything is clean.

During winter they provide us with heaters and in Summers fans are available for us. The library is so clean.

How’s your hostel experience?

Living without your parents is not easy… Coming out of that comfort zone where you had available everything to live in that zone where every person around you is a stranger and you have to adapt to that environment happily.

Pushing yourself so much. From waking up at 10 AM to getting ready at 7 AM because after 9 AM there would be no breakfast available for you. From having lunch whenever you want to go without taking a lunch box.

From having delicious food at dinner to eating dal chawal and waiting for a Friday so that you can eat one chicken piece. Hostel life is not easy at all.

But there’s a saying that “Nothing is given to you for free” You’ve to work hard to achieve that. Waking up early, getting ready, taking the crowded bus and then reaching college, coming back hostel and then working.

But there’s a good side to the hostel. It will help you to learn new things and experience new things. Becoming mentally and emotionally strong.

How are your peers?

They’re really nice. I’m so grateful to have them. I don’t think I made many friends. I think one or two are enough. Because they know you very well and having a small group is really nice. It won’t waste your time.

How are the placements in your college?

I don’t know about much because it’s my second year in college that’s why but I heard that it’s not that pathetic.

How are the co-curricular activities in your college?

It’s good. My college conducts a few seminars and webinars etc but not as much as I mention above they focus on academic education more than co-curricular activities but still students are so brilliant that they take part in everything.

What are some of the things you’d advise a 1st-year aspirant who enters your college?

I would definitely suggest they stay calm and focused. I’m sure many students came from different backgrounds but they had to be focused so that they will understand better.

There’s no need to rush or get depressed just because they’re not able to understand. Take time and stay calm and focused. Don’t lower your confidence.

Anything else you’d like to mention?

I would like to take the name of my senior namely Sajad Ahmed. He is so a nice and down-to-earth personality. The way he delivers his speech is really impressive. His confidence level is always at the top level.
