About LSAT India

LSAT India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It is used by law schools in India that offer 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM programs. It is primarily a test of reasoning, reading, and critical analysis skills. LSAT in India is usually conducted in two sessions, one in January and one in June.

LSAT India 2023 for the January session was conducted on January 22, 2023. Currently, LSAC has opened registrations for the June Session. Interested candidates can fill up applications for the June Session of LSAT India till May 26, 2023.

• To register for LSAT India 2023 June Session, the candidate must create a profile on the Test Registration Application
• Upload a photo, an electronic copy of a valid photo ID, and pay the registration fee in a timely manner.
• Once the information is updated, candidates will receive an email on their registered email ID confirming that their registration is complete.
• Candidates can access their information from the dashboard available in the registration application after they have signed in

LSAT India Application Fee

Interested candidates need to pay Rs 3999 to complete the registration process. You can pay the registration fee using debit and credit cards, net banking, wallets, and UPI. 

Request for a refund of the registration fee will not be entertained once a candidate has successfully registered for the test.

LSAT India Exam Pattern

LSAT India Test is a test of critical thinking skills that tests the candidates based on 3 sections. The following table denotes the different sections, the number of questions from each section, and the time duration allotted to each section.

• Analytical Reasoning: This section tests deductive reasoning skills by making candidates deduce what could or must be the case about a particular scenario, based on some rules and conditions.
• Logical Reasoning: This section attempts to evaluate the ability of candidates to understand, analyze, and criticize arguments contained in short passages.
• Reading Comprehension: This section attempts to measure the ability of candidates to read and comprehend lengthy and complex materials similar to those commonly encountered in law colleges.

LSAT India 2023 Results

LSAT India Exam 2023 results will be declared on 24th June, 2023. The results of LSAT India 2023 and scorecard will be available on the official website.

Students who have appeared for LSAT India 2023 can check their results online. The students will receive a scorecard with details about their score and all India percentile.

  All candidates who complete the test registration application including uploading a photo and electronic copy of a valid photo ID, pay the registration fee, and follow the published test rules are eligible to take the LSAT India.
• What should be a candidate’s qualification to take the LSAT India test?
  
  Candidates applying for 5-year Integrated programs are only required to be appearing for the Class XII exam or have already cleared it. Candidates who are applying for the 3-year LLB program or LLM programs are required to have completed their graduation or be in the final year. Candidates should refer to the eligibility criteria of the law college that they are interested in getting admission into.
• How long are LSAT Exam scores valid?
  
  LSAT India score became valid for 5 years in 2019. However, candidates should check with any law college that they are considering to check whether they will accept a score received during a prior year.

• Under what circumstances can LSAT Exam scores be canceled?
  
  If a candidate fails to follow the testing rules indulges in violation of the Candidate Agreement (Terms and Conditions), or cheats during the exam, their score can be canceled. If during post-test analysis, there is evidence of cheating, scores may be canceled.
