The DMK as part of its ad campaign has published several posts, videos, posters etc, under the Tamil tag line ‘Indiyavai Kaaka Stalin Azhaikkiren’ that translates into English as “Stalin calls you to protect India.”
Several of such campaign material under this head have been rejected by the Chief Electoral officer on the ground that they are likely to likely to promote enmity on grounds of religion, race, language caste or community or that they cast aspersions on the integrity of the President or the judiciary and criticise other parties or their workers on the basis of unverified allegations or by distorting the facts.
