At a press meet for the promotion of Leo, Khan had made allegedly misogynistic comments on the lines that while both Trisha and he were part of the film, he did not get to share screen space with Trisha, and had no “bedroom scenes” with her.
Khan’s statement had led to severe backlash and actors such as Chiranjeevi, Khushbu Sundar, Trisha and makers of Leo had condemned such statement via posts on X (formerly Twitter).
