About the University

The Central University of Punjab (CUPB), located in Bathinda, Punjab, India, is one of the prominent central universities established under the Central Universities Act, 2009.

The Department of Law, Central University of Punjab was established in 2011. The objective was to impart qualitative legal education with a specialisation in Environmental Law, Human Rights, Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Rights.

Department of Law, Central University of Punjab is pleased to announce the upcoming Nyay Nityam (Law Fest’24). Nyay Nityam aims to foster a platform for students, faculty, and professionals alike to engage in meaningful discussions, competitions, and networking opportunities within the realm of law. This fest serves as a celebration of legal knowledge, advocacy, and innovation.
