First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
The founder of bsk legal, sanjay chaddha sir conducted a brief introduction session on the 1st day and gave us a brief overview of how our month as an intern with his organisation would go on.
Main tasks
- Sanjay sir conducted daily sessions of various generes of law like insurance law, cyber law, constitutional law etc.
- We had to maintain an internship diary in which we were told to make short notes of what we were taught in the class.
- He also entrusted us with a task of spreading leagal awareness.
Work environment
The work environment was really healthy and sanjay sir is a really knowledgeable personality. We got to learn various courtroom tactics and the whole journey of filing a plaint to the oral arguments in a case. He elaborated on every point and cleared our doubts whenever we had any of them.
Good things
The internship doesn’t requires a lot of time. We can complete it by just spearing and hour a day. Sanjay sir has a wide coverage of various contemporary laws which helps in getting an overall view of the present context and how are laws being modified. He has argued in a vast number of varied cases which helps the interns to get a fruitful learning experience from him.
Bad things
We weren’t given any drafting work so led to a little disconnect from the actual intricacies. Rest of it was all helpful.
Stipend
It was an unpaid internship.
Details about accommodation and commute
It was a remote internship.
Anything else?
I would recommend this internship to law students to have a taste of the courtroom reality.
