A Bench of Justices Vineet Saran and BV Nagarathna issued notice on the appeal filed by Pandey against the order of Bombay High Court rejecting her plea.
“No coercive action against the appellant. Issue notice,” the Court ordered.
Pandey had approached court for anticipatory bail in relation to the porn racket case in which Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty was arrested.
Pandey’s plea for relief was rejected by the Bombay High Court on November 25, 2021 leading to the appeal before the top court.
