The petition went on to allege current investigation by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) is being influenced by the State’s Home Minister and other senior officers, who had previously been given a clean chit in the case.
The petitioner also accused the CID of failing to make progress in the investigation and of trying to cover up the truth. The future of many candidates who passed the exam on merit as well as the credibility of the government machinery is at stake, the petitioner highlighted.
