Remote Legal Research Internship Opportunity with Vote Ki Awaaz Networks [Paid, Stipend Rs 3K]: Apply Now!

Vote Ki Awaaz Networks, an NPO, is inviting applications for a paid, remote, legal research internship opportunity.

About the Organization

Vote Ki Awaaz Networks is a non-profit organization operating an interactive voter assistance platform called “Vote ki Awaaz”.

The platform has been built to enable greater engagement of an electorate in their respective elections. It will be piloted in the upcoming MCD 2022 elections; then further implemented in subsequent local government elections. The team seeks to provide voters with audiovisual representations of their ward-specific candidates, on the legally obligated functions of the government office they are contesting for.

Considering the manner in which audiovisual information is trafficked across various mediums to influence a voters opinion, a digital platform that provides a level playing field to all candidates and allows voters to express their specific concerns on the same seems like an obvious missing link between the stakeholders in an election; prompting us to work on this initiative.

The organization’s primary objective is the decentralization of political debate, to further the objectives of a local government of decentralizing political power.
