A bench of Justices AS Bopanna and Hima Kohli sought the response of the Delhi Police and posted the matter for further consideration after six weeks.
Though the bench granted liberty to Khalid to move vacation bench for urgent hearing, Khalid’s counsel Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal said that the matter could be heard after the summer vacation of the Court which is set to commence next week.
“Issue notice. Liberty to move vacation bench,” the Court ordered.
“After vacation is fine,” Sibal said.
“Returnable in 6 weeks then,” the bench stated.
